12. a. Chemical manufacturers and importers are required to evaluate the hazards of the chemicals they produce or import, and prepare labels and safety data sheets to convey the hazard information to their customers. Expound FOUR safety alert methods on hazards. (8 Marks)

b. When carrying out engineering works, work practice and administrative controls are not feasible or do not provide sufficient protection. Employers must provide Personal Protective Equipment to their workers and ensure its proper use. Explain SIX measures taken to ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). (12 Marks)
